Today’ is the last of the Guest Post lineup! But do not let the fact that it is last speak about it’s content
I was randomly queuing these posts up as they came in, and I just HAD to have Rie from Nails and Noms as part of the lineup. I believe that Rie and I started blogging at approximately the same time, and yet I always look at her manicures with a sense of awe and reverie! Not only is Rie responsible for probably adding the most amount of polish to my wish list, but her manicures/swatches are absolutely flawless! Rie is also always tackling new techniques in her manicures and whatever she sets her mind to, turn out magnificently. I am particularly pleased with what Rie chose for my guest post; nay, I’m honoured… partly because I’ve been wanting to try this yummy technique out myself

Hey Everyone!
I was super thrilled when Marta asked me to do a guest post for her blog. She is one of the reigning “nail plate stamping queens” and I just love her and her blog to pieces!
I decided to bust out my nail art supplies and try something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time: Cupcake Nails!
I used Cult Nails Get It On Base Coat and Seche Vite Top Coat. But enough chit-chat from me (bad pun), let’s get to the nom-worthy nail art!
Cupcake Nails

Polishes I Used
Wet n Wild Megalast – On A Trip
Wet n Wild Megalast – I Need A Refresh-Mint
Wet n Wild Megalast – Undercover
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear – White On
Essie – Hot Coco
Pretty & Polished – Party On My Yacht
L.A. Colors Art Deco – Magenta, Baby Pink & White Nail Art Polishes
For the flower, heart and star ‘cupcake toppers’ I used pieces from this little nail decal set my boyfriend’s mom got me for Christmas. And I used little “champagne” colored microbeads by Recollections that I bought at Michael’s in the scrapbooking section. ![]()

I’m going to be sad when I have to take these off because they’re so stinkin’ cute!

Here’s some macro shots of all my cupcake nails. If you click on them you’ll be brought to the original sized pictures. ^_^
☻
That’s it for today, I hope you liked my nail art! I had a LOT of fun doing these, and I thank Marta for letting my be a part of her blog for a day.

Rie, these are absolutely delicious!!!! I’ve been mulling over which one looks yummiest and due to the fact that I can’t decide I think I may have to eat them all
Aren’t these pure PERFECTION!?!? If you would like to see more of Rie’s work please check out her blog: Nails and Noms
Did you ever try cupcake nails?
Do you have a favourite cupcake/desert?
