So on Wednesday my friend Magda and I went to the Pitbull Concert (if I sound like a broken record, feel free to scroll on to the manicure photos- it is ok, I won’t hold it against you ).

Even if you are not a Pitbull fan, or if you don’t even know who he is (though, at this point in time I’d be taking your home addresses and paying you a visit with a playlist of his songs – and head bobbing would be mandatory), you must know what it is like to go to a concert where the performer gave his/her all and you really feel a ‘part’ of the concert experience.  I am STILL on a concert high!

Pitbull’s songs have a really awesome tempo, each of his tunes is a hit in my books, and I don’t mind the raunchy lyrics (aka the “dirrrrty dirrrty dog” part) because I can’t help but tap my foot, bob my head and bust a move when I hear his work.  That’s it in a nutshell.  Add to this that Mr. 305 is a really Charismatic performer and you have a successful evening   You can tell that he is in his element when he is onstage! He doesn’t need backup dancers or other onstage gimmicks, he is always dressed in a suit and rocks it every time (yes… I have seen him on stage before…).

I would like to share with you my Pitbull-inspired, concert-ready nails as well as some footage from the concert (all taken by my poorly charged camera- yup, that sums up how electronically prepared I was)

Manicure first:

Base: three coats of Models Own Juicy Jules (which I got from Harlow&Co)

Accent Nail: two coats of OPI Funny Bunny, Swarovski gems, and bigRuby tattoo

I know this nail tattoo is actually of a bulldog (but really, pitbull vs. bulldog… one and the same to my uneducated eye ).

I can’t get enough of Juicy Jules… It is SO camera shy, but in real life it is BLINGTASTIC x1,000,000! The medium sized holographic glitter catches the light and just radiates awesomeness!
