I’m not really into Superheros and/or Actionheros. My life right now revolves around keeping track of the “My Little Pony” sets, the Princesses and the Fairies strewn about the house by my oldest two little girls. I am sure as Jackson gets older, I will be a savvy trivia-ready momma who knows all about the Actionheros
When the OPI Spiderman collection came out, I didn’t attach ANY value to the Collection itself, but I was magnetically drawn to My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Just like I am not into Action Heroes, I am NOT into the whiteout white nails (they remind me of the actual white out nail painting experiments, spurred on by boredom in class, that went oh-so wrong waaaay back in high school). But an off-white that leans blue/grey?!?!
A. MUST. HAVE!
This formula is typical of the OPI cream shades. With the lovely wide brush this is two coats for full opacity
My Boyfriend Scales Walls is definitely a GEM in my collection
(get it? Gem?… *sigh*)
I then painted the tips (randomly starting from mid nail and up) with Catrice Million Dollar Baby that was a giant lemming of mine and was sent to me by Bregje!!!!! This is a lovely glitter mix of larger and smaller gold glitter in a clear base. Here is where it gets interesting…
… I decided to add a thin coat of China Glaze White Cap, and doing so changed the glitter in Million Dollar Baby SILVER!!!?
While I didn’t intend for the Catrice shade to turn Silver under White Cap (odd right?) I actually like that it did!!!! The yellow gold shimmer in White Cap really made the glittery tips quite interesting to look at (the gold and silver were battling for attention ).
I don’t stock up on my favorite shades (generally), but I genuinely and honestly think I need a backup bottle of this OPI off-white cream shade!!! It is absolutely lovely!!!
