Ever since I got the Cult Nails Fairy Tale Collection in the mail early last week I have been alternating between extreme delirium (accompanied by sweaty palms) and giddiness to try all of the shades, to play, to explore. Buuuut, I had to press the “whoa, hold it” button, because I knew I wanted to enjoy each of these shades, and do a little photo shoot of each one
Let us start off with Cult Nails Evil Queen. A synonym for ‘evil’ is ‘wicked’ and this is one wicked-awesome red!
Evil Queen is THE SUMMER RED! That just about summarizes it This is ONE coat! No joke!
One coat of pure buttery, fast drying, goodness. This red leans pink/berry (rather than oranges) which makes it so fresh and summery looking, and would also be a go-to red if orange-tinted reds scare you/don’t vibe with your skin-tone.
(one coat of Evil Queen topped with Cult Nails Wicked Fast topcoat)
Maria, created this one when she created My Kind of Cool Aid and Quench… yes… she has been holding on to this one for quite some time and it is finally out and part of a Collection. Maria says: “I didn’t want a tomato red, I wanted an in your face red that would also be soft at the same time“.
You don’t need to own a poison apple to feel fierce with a pop of red on your nails!
And with this being a one coater you can have date-ready, gorgeous, nails in literally minutes.
Though there are many a-red shade out there, it is tough to beat the pure perfection that is the Cult Nails formula… truly, if you aren’t a Cultie yet… I hope you have a valid reason for your delay
I know that red could be “intimidating”, but nowadays with vibrant shades being worn by all age groups, a red can also be dressed down and add that spunk of color to lift your spirits
(not sure if the plaid trend is all up-and-gone or not, but I still love me a laid-back plaid top )
And who knows, maybe Evil Queen will bring out a little bit of Diva (in a good way) out in you too …
(necklace, a handcrafted piece I got from my Godmother from Poland )
… And make you feel a little wicked inside
If you pre-purchased the Cult Nails Fairy Tale collection… you should be getting it in the mail soon. If you waited to see swatches first you can buy the entire Collection (or individual shades) on the Cult Nails website starting June 15.
