My review of the newest Cult Nails Fairy Tale collection continues
Today on the docket: the toad-ally and magnificently green Feelin’ Froggy.
Feelin’ Froggy is described as: a kelly green with metallic shimmer. Though I am in no way a green-polish connoisseur, this shade is soooo trendy looking! I will add that while Feelin’ Froggy is a bright and playful green, it again holds a murky/dusty element that holds true to the “Cult Nails class” that is present in all of their shades.
This is two coats of Feelin’ Froggy with one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast topcoat. This nail polish is SO glossy that you could wear it without a topcoat and still be wowed by the reflective-surface finish.
Maria, the creator of Cult Nails, originally wanted to make this polish a cream, but opted for the metallic shimmer last minute- I am so glad she did!!! The shimmer is so refreshing and breathes so much life into this polish
You know that I was tempted to do a photo with a frog/toad but
a) I am squeamish around the damp and squishy little fellas
b) none replied to the (non-existing) casting call and therefore none showed up to the photo shoot (thankfully ) and
c) no toy replacement could be located in my home (bursting with all-but-froggy toys).
So I had to resort to my (limited selection) of green accessories…
I will be honest in saying that I do not gravitate to wearing green on my nails. It is just a path I haven’t dared to venture very often. That being said, this green Cult Nails shade is a GIANT hit with the two little princess in our household and has been coined “the pretty green one”…
… Peter and I take these ‘photo-shoots’ outside in our little backyard, where our three little ‘froggies’ are allowed to jump and run around freely. Keeping an eye on them and the photo shoot is sometimes a bit of a challenge. Mid photos, three year old Maya ran up to me and had a ‘dyer’ question… *snap* went the camera:
No joke, the above photo was a ‘bloop’ but I wanted to include it. For one, Maya was still sporting Feelin’ Froggy (those with chips and nicks… but on little nails I hope that translates as charming…) and secondly, it gives you a little glimpse into my life: where hobby and family unite
The shimmer and gloss in Feelin’ Froggy truly is enchanting… perfect for a Fairy Tale collection.
This shade definitely has an enchanted forest feeling. A vibrant but murky closeness to nature and The Wild
Feelin’ Froggy can now be purchased on the Cult Nails website, HERE!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this green (I don’t wear green all that often so I am curious to hear from you!)
Is there a shade of green that you LOVE?
Is there a color that you are still not all to convinced about when it comes to nail polish?
THANK YOU FOR READING!
