This Zebra’s Accent

Hello Lovely Ladies!

TGIF!!! I certainly am celebrating the end of this working-week because as of tomorrow Peter, the kids and I will be off to our annual cottage getaway. We are going with our dear friends, and we will be vacationing it up for one week But don’t worry, I have a few posts queued up for when I’m away (including a super pretty guest-post manicure).

If you read today’s post title… don’t worry I haven’t gone crazy and delirious thinking that I can understand and interpret zebra dialect

I meant ‘accent’ as in accent nail

This manicure combines my favorite nail polish ingredients (so to speak) and mixes them all together: one cup of Barbra Colour Alike #204 , two spoons of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, a dash of animal print from Mash plate Mash-41, and a few accent nails “to taste”

I have to say that I own a few zebra print stamps (from various brands) but this particular Mash plate image is my favorite; I really like the ‘flow’ of the stripes!!! This set of Mash plates is proving to hold a lot of images that I’m quickly adding to my ‘most liked’ pile If you haven’t checked out this set of Mash plates 26-50 you can do so HERE (and International shipping changed, so if the high shipping prices were a deterrent before… they should no longer be an obstacle ).

(I rotated the image on my accent nails… just to make it a little less uniform)

You know how the saying goes: “you can have too much of a good thing” … well, in this case… this manicure made me happy. My ‘good things’ kind of played nicely together IMO.

Haha, you could also title it “this one’s for my soul!” I love the selection of your accent fingers, rather tan just doing the ring fingernail I was just saying on a blog I read few mins ago how I wish I had an animal print stamping plate (all of them, zebra, tiger, cheetah, leopard, snake…), but until then, I’ll just have to freehand to achieve all these amazing manis

I love how you use the same polishes multiple times. Usually bloggers have two Helmers of polishes, but have used each of them only once. Where’s the fun in that?!

  I comment you for freehanding… I lean on stamps like they are my crutch of support.
  
  I set out to keep creating new looks for myself (to challenge myself) and for my sweet readers/followers… but there are some colors/stamps that I like so much (and because I show the manicures I wear… rarely do I show a manicure that I did just for a post only to remove it right after)… so you will see some shades over and over and over hopefully still with a ‘fresh’ spin?

My roommate is home in New Hampshire for the summer and returning in September with those plates in hand.. I cannot wait to get my hands on them, and I think I like that zebra print best myself, it really does resemble a zebra, whereas the other “zebra” prints can often be used as “tiger” too.
