I am thrilled to be able to provide you a SNEAK-PEEK look at the Cult Nails collection of  “toppers” expected out this Fall (the tentative release date is September 14).

Don’t let these soft and innocent bottle pictures fool you though… each of these bottles is filled with SPUNK!

(L-R: Deception, Charlatan, Two-Timer, Doppelganger, Alter-Ego)

This collection is made up of five (5) top-coat-like shades or “toppers”.  These shades are designed to be layered over any cream polish to add an incredible effect (each bottle has it’s own unique effect).  For my swatches I layered ONE coat of each topper over ONE coat of Cult Nails Nevermore- black.

Without further ado, here is the lineup in no particular order (except for the fact that I saved the best for last… make sure you scroll through the entire post )

Cult Nails Doppleganger has copper, purple, blue, and green shimmer suspended in a pearly-white jelly base.  While I am NOT a fan of pearly shades, this finish creates a fresh frosted look.  I absolutely LOVE what this shade does over black.  AMAAAAAHZING!

In a nutshell: Doppleganger creates an overall pearly deep-navy finish; but you will honestly need to see this shade in person to know that there is soo much more to the character of this lovely polish.

Cult Nails Deception is the subtle but sophisticated shade in this collection.  Pink and blue ultra-fine shimmer is suspended in this jelly base casting a super glossy purple sheen when layered over black:

Deception is absolutely breathtaking and would be a great choice for anyone who wishes to try vampy/darker shades but doesn’t want to jump into ‘black’ right away

Cult Nails Alter-Ego is probably my second favourite of this bunch.  This polish is packed with copper toned shimmer (gold, pink, light green) particles create a goldish-copper finish when layered over black.  Very royal and mysterious:

I love copper/gold shades but wearing them alone doesn’t look all that good against my skintone.  This is the perfect solution, AND now I can bust out all of my bronzed gold jewelry pieces   Imagine this with a gold stamp or some Cult Nails gold studs! *gasp*

Cult Nails Two-Timer not only has a frisky name but it is a daring mixture of green and gold shimmer suspended in a clear jelly base:

And now for my absolute FAVOURITE of the bunch!

Cult Nails Charlatan is made up for chunkier shimmer bits.  This shimmer is magical! It is MULTICHROMATIC and flashes pink, purple, blue all at once… honestly, all three of these shades will be visible on the surface of your nail all at the same time!

This is ONE coat!  I honestly think Maria should sell these bottles with Cult Nail foam-helmets, because if you are anything like me, you too will be distracted by your gorgeous nails and be more prone to walk into walls etc.  Ah-Ma-Zing!

This yet-unnamed Cult Nails collection of five toppers is tentatively scheduled to be released September 14, 2012.  In the meantime I have been let in on a secret!!!!

Tomorrow, August 24, a select number of Cult Nails shades (including THREE SHADES FROM THIS COLLECTION) will be ON SALE on the  Gloss 48 website. I normally do photo spreads for Cult Nails collections… for this particular collection I promise to bring you ‘stylized’ photos but they will be more close up (to really draw attention to these pretties).  I would also like to layer these toppers over various shades to show you their versatility.  So here is my REQUEST to you: if you would like to see any of these five shades over a particular color please let me know in the comment section
