Happy Monday Lovely Ladies,

You know, even though nail-art is trending BIG time recently, and creative nail blogs are sprouting up everywhere (yay!), it is still rare to meet a fellow nail-art blogger.  I have had the pleasure to meet a few bloggers to date, and consider myself very lucky for that.

Karen from Nail Call is one of them.  In fact, Karen actually works with my husband!!!  Today is the first day back-on-the-job for her (post maternity leave).  Karen has become not only a fellow-blogger that I can put a face to ;) , but a very dear friend to me.  Karen asked me, as well as a few other bloggers, for guest posts while she focuses on transitioning back to work ;)

I know going back to work -post maternity leave- is not easy (I’ve done it three times and it doesn’t get easier), but I also know that Karen will manage well!

    OMG, I LOVE this one!! It certainly helps that these coral-l pinks are way at the top of my favorite polish colors, but subtle stamping gets me every time! I can only hope to stamp this well someday :)

      Awh, you are very sweet. Stamping takes some practice and patience, and we are always our own worst critics ;)

    That’s so pretty ! :D I love the Duri color !! And the stamping is really lovely ! :) And as always, glitter is wonderful ! ^^ (I would like to swim in a glitter swimming pool ! lol)

    I did nothing really special this weekend : it was cold and rainy… :( And this week is a week off (I don’t know if I can say it like that ^^) so I enjoyed my weekend without having to prepare translations or an oral presentation ! :)

      I love love LOVE your glitter stories ;) I too would swim in a big pool of glitter… sounds lovely as we hear 80km/hour winds (side sweet of Sandy).

      It is nice to have some time off ;) This week, all week, I have the evenings off so it is an AWESOME way for me to spend the evenings with the family :D

    I was actually surprised to hear that you have a job?! It seems like a natural thing for a woman, but you are SO active on your blog and also Twitter, you are raising three little children (and I know how difficult that can be) that I just couldn’t imagine you having a proper job also :D What is it, if it’s no secret? :)

    Also, since I have an actual Disqus account, I get email notifications when someone replies on my comments, so naturally, I read all of your replies yesterday (or was it a day before?). Anyhow, I LOVE the idea of a free-handed cheetah print twin post! I was so happy with our collaboration, that i asked a fellow Slovenian blogger if she’d be my next twin and she said yes (with her, we actually had polishes in common! :D ) so I think it’s safe to say that you unleashed a twin dragon in me (poorly written, but you get the idea ;) ).

      My job is no secret ;)
      Before I started a family I finished four years of university. I studied psychology. I then went back for one more year to study Social Work… I was very young at the time and my first ‘real job’ was working with young offenders (criminal) and first-time adult offenders. I was really quite life-young and I quit that job when I got pregnant. I now work as a porter at the Hospital. It is not a career job, but it is part time and fits well with taking care of the children. When all three of my little ones are in school I too will go back to school to refresh my knowledge and find a ‘better’ job ;)

      Okay, okay.. I will loan you out as a twin but we do need to reunite in twin-dom for that post. Let me know when you have time and we will make it happen- a challenge for me skillwise ;)

      Thank you :D I’m so glad that you follow us both.
      I USED to have GFC but my blog is run through WordPress and Google stopped making that widget available to WordPress users. Therefore any WordPress blog will not show up on the GFC feed anymore ;) (phew… too much info?). I recently started using Bloglovin’ myself and I’m lovin’ it ;)
