Cult Nails Flushed quick swatch

A quick post/update:

I have always mentioned that I am open to suggestions and requests from YOU, my lovely friends/readers.

Well, in the comment section of TODAY’S Cult Nails Behind Closed Doors Swatches, PolishMad asked if I could show Flushed on its own (just to see how build able it is).  Well, your wish is my command! :D

* (these are literally quick swatches- I put up the lightbox, and dabbed on the polish ;) … this is PRE-cleanup… no topcoat) *

And from the original post, here is ONE coat of Flushed over ONE coat of Cult Nails Time Traveler:

It is fair to say that Flushed is VERY build-able and fully opaque in two coats.  Layering it over a deep/navy blue just adds a depth and darkness to it.

I was quite surprised myself to see how opaque it was on its own!! It just goes to show you that for everyone who asks a question, there are a number of others who wonder in silence. ;)

      It is MY PLEASURE. I love getting request. I try to keep my “stash” page updated- if I have it, I am always happy to show it / compare it etc.

      I may not always get to it as quickly as today (a fluke moment where the children played quietly on their own ) ;)

    It’s a beautiful color and now you’ve convinced me to buy it. I have to agree that it looks amazing layered over blue! I’m going to do that too :)

    Dang it, I was hoping it would be super sheer and take like 6 coats so I could pass on it but now I’m going to have to add this one to my wish list too!!

      LOL. I actually didn’t expect it to be so opaque in two coats either! I’m selling my FF ;) this is my preferred polish ;)

    As feared – impossible to pass this one!!! I AGAIN have to abandon my no-buy ban aaaargh!!!! On the other hand – who in their clear mind would impose a no-buy at the same time of all the Christmas Collection releases???? And this is before clean-up??? You must be kidding!!!!!!

      It is “Impossible” – well phrased.
      LOL… I have tried no-buys but I’m futile at sticking to the plan. I now just try not to buy ‘dupes’… or get caught up in buying “just because it is part of a new collection”. If I won’t wear it more than once- I pass on it ;)

    I have FF, but am very miserly with it b/c it is such a small bottle. Because of your gorgeous swatches, I bought the whole Behind Closed Doors collection the moment it was released. With the addition of Flushed to my polish collection, I can wear its beauty and I no longer feel the need to keep FF locked up in my makeup case. Thank you!

      I agree… the small bottle makes me think that after one manicure it will be all gone -PLUS it is ultra sheer right so you need multiple coats. :) You will love this shade for sure! Now I’m excited with you to see these shades arrive at your doorstep

    This is the kind of purple that could bring out my ‘purple phase’ again – a time when I wore nothing but all sorts of purple and was convinced this is THE color for me. But then I discovered red, lol. I still appreciate a good purple shade is this one is beyond the value of good! Love it!

      This is an exquisite shade for sure!!!!
      Can you believe that the purple phase that you describe in yourself was PINK phase for me!? In fact, for a few years I wore nothing but bright pinks year round!
