Hello Lovely Ladies,
If you had a chance to read Wednesday’s post, you would have seen my swatches of Happy Hands Art is Hard (a Harlow & Co exclusive).
Well, when Katie sent me a lovely nail-mail package she included two more Happy Hands shades, and I would like to share those with you today!
First up is Motherboy:

The Happy Hands description reads: “There’s nothing like a mother & son wearing matching outfits, and now they can match their nail polish too!”

This is a mix of pastel metallic glitters in green, aqua, baby blue, pink, and lavender in both small and medium hexagonal bits. Because the glitter is sooo very fine it comes out a little clumpy out of the bottle, but the glitter spreads itself out very smoothly once on the nail.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS POLISH! It is pastel, and soft, and almost matte looking. It is a glitter like no other IMO!!! AND the fact that I am a proud mommy of a two year old little boy makes this even more special to me
I am taken back to the warm and tender moments of the ‘baby phase’ and all of those candy-colored pastel baby clothes
The above swatches are ONE coat of Motherboy over two coats of OPI Steady as she Rose:

And just for fun, I added a few BM-02 stamps with OPI From A to Z-Urich (then a matte top coat
):

This glitter polish is soft and trendy! A perfect start for anyone wishing to add a little “oomph” to their manicure without too vibrant a glitter.
This bottle of Happy Hands can be purchased on the Harlow&Co website HERE.

The second Happy Hands shade is Flowers on the Highway:

Happy Hands describes Flowers on the Highway as “an eclectic mix of wildflower-inspired hexes including pinks, white, lavender, green, yellow and small black (reminiscent of the centers of “brown” eyed Susans, as Kristi’s mother calls them.) A perfect summery glitter topcoat!”

This is ONE coat over one coat of China Glaze Below Deck:

While I frantically looked for something to pose with
…

… I mattified the polish:…

… and still couldn’t help but reminisce about the gorgeous meadows back home in Poland: with the poppies and delicate flowers in full bloom. I LOVE it when a shade takes me on a mini vacation and brings back fond memories:

The metallic matte soft pastel glitter of Motherboy makes it super unique in my books, and Flowers on the Highway brings back fond memories of my childhood in Poland. I am so happy to have been given the opportunity to try some Happy Hands shades. I will also add that I LOVE the earthy-feel of the newer labels

Which of these two shades features is more ‘your cup of tea’?
Can you think of any other layering combos for these?
THANK YOU FOR READING!
