My entry for Wacky Laki Contest

Hello Lovely Ladies,

Anutka from Wacky Laki has been running a contest for a Fashion Inspired manicures, and today is the very last day to enter (you have until midnight).

I would like to show you my entry:

(source for inspiration was THIS Pinterest post)

I am a HUGE fan of Anutka’s manicures, her attention to detail and her perfect execution with each manicure.Β  She has done a number of exquisite fashion-inspired looks.Β  I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to try this myself πŸ˜€

The idea of getting inspiration from fashion/the-runway really appealed to me!Β  I don’t have that many “trendy” things in my wardrobe so I hit Pinterest for inspiration.Β  I typed in “fashion” and may have lost myelf for an hour or so πŸ˜‰ … until I stumbled upon this photo:

I knew I had the right stamps to create this look (and I also knew that stamping would be what I would resort to as my freehand is not all that great):

Pinky: Essie Chinchilly stamped with Mash-42 and white stamping polish

Middle Finger: Cult Nails Evil Queen stamped with Gals GA17 and Mash black stamping polish.

The other fingers: I first painted my entire nail white and stamped only part of the nail (by painting only part of the image) using BM223.Β  I then painted an arch first with Misa Ghetto Fabulous and then with Cult Nails Nevermore.

I haveΒ  to say that I totally loved perusing all the runway fashions for inspiration, and can see myself turning to Pinterest for more “ideas” in upcoming manicures for sure!

Public voting in Anutka’s contest will start tomorrow, and once her link is up I will update this post as well. I cannot wait to see all of the other entries in this AWESOME CONTEST. πŸ˜€

EDIT: THE VOTING IS NOW OPEN, and you can vote for your favourite HERE
