Today’s post is dedicated to Nail Polish Canada and to all of YOU!
For those of you who follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you will already have seen my posts of excitement announcing that I won the final prize in the Nail Polish Canada Christmas Challenge; a Prize worth over $450.00!!!!!

You know how there are people who seem to win all the time? Well, I’m not one of them 
I’m one of those who very rarely win; even back in elementary school where we played round after round of Bingo for colorful pencils, I NEVER won! This win is HUGE for me not only because of the AMAZING prize, but because I built up the courage to enter all three rounds of the challenge (fueled by YOUR amazing and constant support and encouragement):

Week 3 – Christmas Tree Trimmings Manicure
* The final prize was up for grabs to anyone who entered all three weeks of the Christmas Challenge; five finalist were chosen by the NailPolishCanada.com staff, and voting was opened only to those who entered at least one week of the challenge.
I want to show you some photos of THE PRIZE (it deserves capital letters ), not as a means to brag (and I hope it doesn’t come across as such), but as a way to show my gratitute, to look back at the latest 2012 collections from various brands, and a way to show you some of the shades I hope to feature very soon in the first few weeks of 2013 (I would love your advice/opinion/preferences of what you would like to see first ):

I am sooo very excited for Electra the silver holo bar glitter and Ziv the gold one. Storm has me quite curious too- I wear a lot of black this time of year and this scattered holo black will be a lovely addition to my manicures.
* OPI 12pc James Bond (Skyfall) Holiday Collection *
WOW right!?!?! All twelve shades!!! I had been eyeing On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and kept putting it back… now I am sooo excited to welcome it into my Helmer … but all of these are soo pretty IRL!
* China Glaze 12pc Holiday Joy Collection *
Glitter!!!!!!! Where do I even begin with these? I’m mesmerized by the sparkle and I sure love a glittery accent nail! And while I am not a huge fan of darker blue/metallic shades Blue Bells Ring is going at the top of my to-try list!
* Essie 6pc Winter 2012 Collection *
Gosh, Essie shades sure have gotten really lovely in 2012! I walk past the Essie endcap each time I go to my local Superstore and I will admit (no shame here) that I stop each time and look at the pretty shades in this collection- but with Christmas I had to keep scolding myself and saying “no Marta! You have to hold off on these”… I looooove these all sooo much. Especially Where’s My Chauffeur? , Buttler Please and Beyond Cozy… now if only I could find my maid so that I can sit back and paint my nails
* Butter London 5pc Holiday 2012 Collection *
I consider Butter London a higher-end brand because of their price… and here FIVE of these lovelies arrived at my door. I am most excited to try Scuppered.
So there you have it… the Biggest Win of my life 
And while I’m tooting my own horn of success, do you recall my “GIFT MANICURE” entry? …
… and my Christmas Wish for a Tiffany Bracelet… well, Santa Peter was very good to me
