I hope you all had a great weekend?!

In today’s post I would like to share with you my weekend NOTD (if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me flaunt this mani there already ):

Every now and then I get an itch to wear some glitter tips; most often I choose a plain silver glitter because I think that makes for a crisp and clean looking manicure.  I did however make an exception for the glitter-BOMB that is China Glaze Pizzazz

Pizzazz is PACKED with various sizes of mostly silver glitter with turquoise, purple, fuchsia, red, green, orange and yellow glitter all suspended in a clear jelly base.  When I say ‘packed’ I mean PACKED- these glitter tips were achieved by painting only TWO coats of Pizzazz over the top portion of my nail

I did add one very thin coat of OPI Pirouette my Whistle over Pizzazz… (the tiny silver glitter you see) just to give the gradient a ‘smoother-transition’ look.

I may have bragged about the Tiffany Bracelet that Peter got me for Christmas (and because I am so excited about it… and because some of you asked to see it ) here is a photo with it

I quite enjoy glitter tips because they seem to me like a ‘sophisticated’ way to wear some glitter AND I find that glitter-tip manicures wear for a really long time without chipping so it is a ‘durable’ look

Pizzazz is part of the China Glaze Holiday Joy 2012 collection.  You might still be able to find it wherever China Glaze products are sold OR from NailPolishCanada.com (which is how I got my bottle ).

Pizzazz seems to be the clear-base version of the recently released China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze with a milky white/blue base.  Both are stunning shades, but Pizzazz can be layered over ANY other shade and might therefore be more versatile?
