Elixiversary Polish!

Hello Lovely Ladies,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend 😀

Today I have the distinct pleasure to show you the soon-to-be released Limited Edition Elixir Lacquer called Elixiversary!

Elixir Lacquer, created by the very talented Nicole, has been around for one year now and to celebrate this successful milestone, seventy-five (75) limited edition bottles of Elixiversary will be released, starting on January 16, 2013!

Nicole’s ultimate goal “was to create a polish that looked like a treasure chest had spilled out over my nails”

Elixiversary is a clear coat loaded with a vast array of carefully selected glitters!

Contained within are multi-sized diamonds, squares, hexes, and dots in mattes, satins, holographics, and iridescents galore, and a spectrum of color that simply dazzles!!

Check these out!!! So much pretty to look at, and each glitter adds a distinct and gorgeous element to the overall interest of this polish.  What a way to celebrate, eh!!!?!!!

Now, even if you are not HUGE into chunkier glitters, there is a way to tone down the glitter and still have fun with it… I hope you like what I created 😉

Application of Elixiversary was quite easy.  I would suggest storing the bottle upside-down to keep the glitters from sinking to the bottom of the bottle, but otherwise, the glitters applied easily over the surface of the nail in one coat.

I used two of my new shades, that I won from Nail Polish Canada;  on the pinky I have one coat of China Glaze Blue Bells Ring, and on my pointer and thumb I have two coats of Zoya Aurora.  I picked these shades thinking that they best compliment the glitter within Elixiversary.

I hope you will agree that wearing larger beautiful glitter on only a few nails can be great way, slightly toned down, to enjoy glitterbombs 😀

Out of the whole glitter-chest that is Elixiversary I most like the white large chunks of glitter- they are like bits of pearl amongst all the bling! 😉  I also like that while there is a LOT of glitter in this polish, the base shade still shows through, so layering this shade can be a LOT of fun.

How can YOU get your hands on this LIMITED EDITION Elixiversary polish?  Visit the Elixir Lacquers website HERE!

There will be three releases for this which will take place at 1:00pm EST on January 16th, February 16th, and March 16th.  Each release will have 25 bottles available.

Congratulations Nicole for creating such a successful line of shades.  Elixiversary is a great way to celebrate!
