ALMONDINE!!!!!

Hello Lovely Ladies,

Today’s post may seem ‘plain and simple’ at first sight, but it is a post that I never thought would happen ;)

You see, EONS ago, I saw a post on Nails and Noms on Borhese Almondine and have been lusting after this Limited Edition / Discontinued shade ever since.  Almondine was (notice past tense ;) ) on my wishlist, and I frequently checked eBay thinking that one day it would pop up…

Well, two weeks ago Jasmine from Colour Coated sent me a package with this beauty inside!!!!!!!

BORGHESE ALMONDINE!!!!

Almondine is this gorgeous nude cream shade… but what makes it special are these dust-fine black ‘grits’ that look like super fine sand, but are ultra smooth to the touch.  In addition, Almondine has a subtle pink shimmer (that would NOT photograph for me)

The two accent nails are China Glaze I’m Not Lion.

I cannot find the words to thank Jasmine for sending Almondine my way.

Sometimes less is more when it comes to words; Jasmine “DZIEKUJE SERDECZNIE”, that is my sincere thank you in Polish.

      I think Rie’s post had all of us drooling…. I remember her posting an
      ebay link to a seller who had a few bottles, by the time I made it to a
      computer to buy it the inventory was cleared out lol :D

      Yes she is; she totally floored me AND because, she said, that Almondine didn’t want
      to fly alone, she also sent me Finger Paints Twisted (another one of my
      lemmings).
      I’m Not Lion is another one of those shades that everyone should have

    I have no wishlist polishes or IRL friends who are as obsessed as myself, so I compensate by trying not to have too big of a wishlist xD or stalking Amazon/Ebay just to see if certain things pop up one day…

      I do really enjoy it (I wore it for our mini Niagara Falls getaway :D ).
      I also don’t have many IRL friends who are as goo-goo over nail polish, though they ARE quite tolerant of my obsession and accept hand-me-down shades ;) lol

      Thank you. I am always hesitant on posting hard to find shades because I know others might now add it to their lemming list (and my wait was filled with so much anticipation). The closest to this shade would be Cult Nails Cruisin’ nude (but that one doesn’t have the black gritty bits)

      I honestly can admit that I dreamt of this polish. When you put up your post I was still new at the Lemming thing and this was my first “wow, I would cross the world and back to get a bottle of it” polish :D *phew* I can sleep at night, and I have hired extra security for my helmer ;)
