Repeat Stripes

Author: marta  //  Category: Barielle, Dandy Nails

Hello Lovely Ladies,

Yesterday was a Statutory holiday: Family Day- it is day off from school and work for families to have an opportunity to spend the day together.  It is unfortunate that our lives have gotten so hectic that an annual Family Day had to be put in place BUT, I value what it is trying to inspire in our busy lives and I sure enjoyed my day with Peter and the kids.

Today’s post is kind of a deja-vu of THIS post that I did a few weeks back.  I liked that technique and look so much that I really wanted to give Dandy Nails Moonglow another opportunity to shine ;)

Yes… I really wanted to do the striped look again *guilty as charged* and I knew that it wouldn’t be the same without the super pretty metallic/shimmery Dandy Nails Moonglow. At the risk of being redundant, I hope you see it as a spotlight on a different color combo rather than a lack of originality ;)

(posed with a mold-able bracelet)

My pinky and pointer finger are two coats of Barielle One Shade of Grey (for those of you who have read the “50 Shades” series, I know you can see the humor in this polish name).  The thumb and stripes are both done with China Glaze Kinetic Candy.

I hope you don’t mind that the technique I used so recently was repeated in this post.  I am optimistic that this look was ‘different enough’ ;)   I really do like this technique and this may not be the last time you see it on my blog ;) ;) ;)

Is there a look/technique that YOU just can’t get enough of (that you want to try in a different color combo etc)?

THANK YOU FOR READING!

I didn’t even notice at first glance its the same. I LOVE both looks ! I loved the pink girly look, but I LOVE this look with the blue just as much ! Still have to give this technique a whirl ♥

Awh, yaaay- that means I changed it enough that it wasn’t too obvious ;)
It is a really neat technique- easy to carry out and quite pretty on the nail (almost casts this glow/shadow look)

Thank you SO much. It was really nice to spend the day together- Peter did have to pack for his trip to California, but that did not impede on our relaxing day

Great look. This is fun with the stripes and I think I perfer the blue as well

That seems to be the consensus – the blue trumps the pink :D Glad you ladies don’t mind the same technique being shown in such a short time

Thank you! I really enjoy a polish that is a pleasure to apply- that way the fun is both in painting my nails and in wearing them. These grey shades both are a real treat to work with
