piCture pOlish – majesty

Author: marta  //  Category: Dollar Nail Art, OPI, piCture pOlish

Hello Lovely Ladies,

I am once again excited to share another gorgeous piCture pOlish shade with you.  I have to tell you, that this brand has yet to disappoint!  From intricacy of shade to application I am on a piCture pOlish HIGH! ;) WAHOOOOO!

TODAY’S FEATURE IS MAJESTY:

* * *

This time around I didn’t do a pure swatch and opted to just show you how I would wear, and how I enjoyed, Majesty (I hope you don’t mind).

Majesty was created with Sahrish from Sahrish Adeel’s Blog and forms part of our Collaboration collection.  Sahrish requested to create a shade that would be perfect for every occasion, every skin type, every age -  basically everyone!  And what a challenge that became however we never gave up!  So that is what was fashioned!  And yes with Majesty your nails will look perfect everyday…  Majesty is a taupe/pink/nude with micro gold sparks and holo (scattered) and has NO glitter. Majesty contains a holographic shimmer to create a shade just perfect for everyone for every occasion!

I don’t know where to start with this shade there is so much pretty going on!

It really is a stellar sparkly but every-day ready polish.  When worn on its own it would be a stunning soft but shimmery number ;)

Though this one is a bit more sheer than o’hara, for example, it is perfect for layering.  I adore it as a sparkly accent on the tips.  The taupe/pink/nude creates a soft transition over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

The micro gold sparkles are breathtaking and in some lights, under some angles they look green and even pale turquoise.  In addition, and unfortunately my camera didn’t capture this, there are these micro fine holographic elements – just in case you weren’t fully wowed yet ;)

Also worth a mention, because Majesty is made up of small shimmer bits (not glitter) it is very easy to remove (no scrubbing/elbow grease required) ;)

I paired these Majesty tips with a sparrow stamp from plate MLS301 and two black studs form dollarnailart.com

This looks like a beautiful colour. Would love to also see a full nail swatch. I adore the little swallow you added. Very fun :) xx

Thank you for your comment. I was a little upset with myself that I didn’t make time to do a full swatch (I hope to do one sometime soon).

I am very honored to have a chance to review a few piCture pOlish shades and really wanted to do a full swatch in addition to my “how I wore it”, but I ran out of time this week (Peter is away on business and the household responsibilities and children are all on my shoulders).
      Next time, I promise ;)

Such a gorgeous mani, eally LOVE the colour combination, and the stamping and black studs, such a soothing look (sounds weird I know.. lol ) but it does look like such a calming mani ♥

Thank you. I think you described this manicure really well. It did have a soft/calming effect on me. Peter is away on business this week and I am alone with the kinds- I enjoyed this look for four day and had to remove it- I miss it :D lol

Really gorgeous! I think you made the right choice by not doing a plain swatch.

Thank you! I enjoyed this manicure for four days- and it was chip-free (but I had to swatch a few other shades). I personally really enjoyed it. Thanks

  • Manisbymoore

I actually love the way you do your swatches! The way you swatch is much better than just showing the color. It gives ideas for me when I sit to do a mani! Please continue to do this!

  • Christine Steiner

I am wowed too!! No big surprise, eh? I was not planning getting it as all those swatches I have seen remind me of A England And The Moon Beams….. Reading your description though it seems to be an entirely different matter. I would wear it over any taupe, grey, mauve, pastel polish if not worn on its own. Your pictures and your mani are absolutely beautiful :-)

    • http://www.chitchatnails.com/ Marta

I do not own any A England shades, but I quickly googled some swatches and this is a much more nude/pink/peach shade than the yellower toned A England (at least from what I can see in the swatches)

You are so clever- now all of these layering combos are floating in my head ;)
