Hello Lovely Ladies,

It seems like everywhere we look there are new and innovative shades of polish popping up, and behind them are creative indie brands and fashion forward mainstream brands.  I, for one, am loving these times of nail-polish abundance and glory!!!

Today, I am happy to show you four shades from the Canadian-based indie brand,  Animeniac Cosmetics.

Animeniac Crash Landing is a matte black and white shredded glitter:

(one coat over NOPI Scarlett)

You all know of my weakness for black and white glitter.  I finally got my hands on a shredded black and white glitter! SQUEEEEE!

I have to note how smoothly this glitter applies.  The clear base of this polish is very thin (not goopy at all) which makes application a breeze and even shredded-glitter distribution a guarantee.  Honestly, from application to look- I ADORE THIS SHADE!!!!

I also want to take a moment and share with you how this shade took me down memory lane   When I was in my early teens I used to LOVE watching Warner Bros Animaniacs with my younger siblings.  I could not get enough of that cartoon and looked forward to the weekends to watch it- this nail polish reminds me of those fun and carefree weekends.

Animeniac Blogger is a transparent base with white hexagonal glitter (and some surprise white heart glitter bits as well)

Do I need to mention how much I love the name of this polish?!?  I think I might have to wait until my non-existent cows come home to get my hands on my name-sake polish: “Marta”… buuuut, being a Blogger is such a big part of who I am.  For those of you who run blogs, you know how much of yourself you pour into your posts, how much care and effort goes into every manicure.  This polish of pure, innocent and gorgeous white glitter (with a few white hearts inbetween), truly captures the essence of “blogging”- your heart has to be in it

Animeniac Cherry Maiden is an upcoming color.  It is filled with various sizes of gold and holographic siver glitter mixed in with smaller metallic red bits

Animeniac Giga Byte Me is a grey jelly-base with silver (lavender) toned glitter:

This is such a neat collor.  The glitter is primerily silver/charcoal, but I swear I detect some lavander-silver in there…

I did find that dabbing the glitters on worked better than painting them on (as some of the glitters wanted to clump together); that being said, the base is also NOT goopy which makes dabbing easier.

I chose to add some silver data-blocks (get it, Gigabyte… data blocks… ) :

If you know me personally, you will know that I don’t know anything about computers, electronics, gadgets etc.  But Peter is a computer savvy guy, and because of him, I really love the name of this polish
