Hello Lovely Ladies,
I have so many exciting products and polishes arriving at my door on a daily basis that I am literally running out of time in the day to post them all. In my excited haste to show you everything (all at once), I have a lot of my ‘personal’ day-to-day manicures that have been put on the back burner. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen this look already (but it deserves the spotlight)
Today’s post is dedicated to Maria from So Nailicious! (whose manicure I liked so much that I simply copied it ) *blush*
When Maria posted this look, I instantly added it to my immediate to-try list. In fact, my glittery bottle of OPI My Living Daylights (that I won from NailPolishCanada.com) was still sitting in my untrieds bin… so this was the perfect time to play with it!

I wore this manicure for my daughters joint birthday party at the end of January! (talk about “from the vault” right!?)
To create this look I painted my nails with two coats of OPI Don’t Pretzel my Buttons. When the base was dry I pulled out the brush from the glitter bottle, and brushed off excess polish on the inside of the bottle neck. I then picked up the glitters that were sliding down the neck of the bottle and dabbed them with the brush at the base of my nail. One generous coat of Seche Vite completes this look.
On the last day I added a matte topcoat. I really liked that look (though unfortunately I don’t have a photo of it) *sad face*

I want to thank Maria for the inspiration for this post AND I encourage you all to check out her blog. She is in the process of putting together a really neat nail-art idea book. If you aren’t a follower of hers, you should remedy that
I hope you like this post.
I am curious: when YOU wear glitter, do you like it all over, as an accent nail, at the tips, or at the base of the nail?
THANK YOU FOR READING!
