OPI – Emotions

Author: marta  //  Category: BornPretty Store, OPI, piCture pOlish

Hello Lovely Ladies,

Last week I share the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Press Release with you (check it out here, if you missed it).  This collection has sixteen shades in it (so it is quite large).  It was tough, but I was able to pick out a few of my favorites and will slowly be swatching then for you ;)

Today I would like to start with OPI Liquid Sand, Emotions:

It is hard to envision, just from looking at the bottle, what marvels rest inside of OPI Emotions.  This is a charcoal black base textured shade with medium and small matte black glitters.  This polish definitely has dimension, and despite the fact that the glitters are matte, this Liquid Sand shade still plays so well in the sun.

I tend to enjoy Liquid Sand shades as accent nails (rather than a full on manicure), but  Emotions beckoned to be exception to this rule.

I chose to pair it with an accent nail of piCture pOlish Beige and Majesty stamped with BornPrettyStore plate QA66 (direct link HERE, and coupon code MARTAK31 will get you 10% off of the already low ticket price of $2.99).  I mattified the accent nail with OPI Matte Topcoat.

I am feeling all sorts of emotions for OPI Emotions… and they are all accompanied by a big grin and two thumbs up ;)

Mariah Carey Holiday will be available October 2013, at professional salons and spas across Canada for $10.95 suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

This is gorgeous. I like how it is just a little bit different from the texture polishes, we have seen so far from OPI.

Stunning! I love how you decided to do a smooth accent nail and the structure on the others. I also keep using an sand accent instead of otherwise. I need to redo this soon.
